Royal Jaarbeurs transforms into the hotspot for logistics innovation (2024)

Utrecht, June 13, 2024 – The ICT&Logistiek and Logistica Next trade fairs will take place in Koninklijke Jaarbeurs from 5 to 7 November 2024. The trade fairs are the meeting place for technological innovation with the aim of making logistics processes increasingly efficient. The sector faces the challenge of innovating together for competitive, safe and emission-free logistics. How do you as an organization keep a grip on these logistical challenges, now and in the future? With the theme ‘The Future Starts Here’, more than 300 exhibitors, 200 speakers and 10 knowledge institutions will answer this question. They will demonstrate their innovations, new techniques and solutions during ICT&Logistiek and Logistica Next.

Chain collaboration is the key to success
More than ever, the entire logistics chain is connected during ICT&Logistiek and Logistica Next. Corien den Ouden, trade fair manager Koninklijke Jaarbeurs: “The coming together of the entire sector at these fairs shows that collaboration is an indispensable ingredient for survival in a turbulent and complex logistics world and that you can make an impact especially if you do it together. Resilient and sustainable freight transport in the future
Logistiek Nederland is working hard on more efficient, sustainable and future-proof logistics. Many companies are committed to digital transformation processes. Tobia Potters, senior advisor electronic Fright Transport Information (eFTI): “The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW) supports the digital transition as a precondition for resilient and sustainable freight transport in the future. IenW will be present at the fair to discuss this with visitors and listen to their experiences so that we can shape this transition together.”

Presentation of Logistica Award 2024
Established entrepreneurs and start-ups are invited to participate in the Logistica Award 2024, organized by the Logistica Foundation. Prof. Dr. René de Koster, chairman and jury member Logistica Awards: “The Logistica Award is important for both providers of logistics solutions to draw attention to the new developments, and for users of those solutions to gain insight into these new developments. The participants in the prize can be established companies, but also start-ups with new ideas.” The jury mainly looks at the latest developments in the field of internal logistics with a Dutch input. “Developments, for example, in the field of robotization, AI, Internet of Things applications and software. Or developments in more traditional areas such as safety, storage, transport, packaging, ergonomics, energy consumption, process monitoring and sustainability.
