It was the perfect opportunity to have 1-on-1, 10-minute conversations with various logistics companies in a low-threshold and efficient manner.

Essensium Wins the Logistica Award 2024!
This was announced on November 5 at 10:00 AM during the Award Show on the Mainstage, presented by the Logistica Foundation. It was an inspiring event, where Essensium presented the most innovative solution in logistics with their groundbreaking SafeTrack system.

Logistics service provider, IT professional, buyer, policymaker, or educator? In this game, you simulated the supply chain of a complete logistics network and scored based on costs, performance, and disruption. You considered aspects such as supply chain management, bundling deliveries, using a hub, and sustainable procurement.
The driver shortage is expected to continue growing in the coming years. The International Road Transport Union (IRU) reports that there are already more than 233,000 unfilled vacancies for truck drivers in Europe, and this number is expected to rise to 745,000 by 2028.
CEYAS offers a cost-effective solution for yard automation and takes over repetitive tasks from yard operators, such as maneuvering trailers in restricted port, distribution, and industrial areas. CEYAS was developed in collaboration with Verhagen Leiden, V-tron, and TNO.
The Ministry is working toward a competitive, safe, efficient, resilient, and sustainable multimodal freight transport system. Digitalization and stronger digital collaboration within logistics chains are essential to achieve this. It all starts with collaboration between the responsible parties: we as the government, and you as the business sector. At the fair, we would be pleased to discuss how this collaboration can take shape.
In Theater 7 (Hall 9), we will present stories aimed at inspiring you and offering concrete invitations to collaborate on specific projects.
Physical meetings are a crucial starting point for realizing innovation. That’s why we are providing a meeting place at ICT&Logistiek: the “IenW & Friends Networking Foyer,” where we look forward to hearing about your experiences. What are your thoughts on the digital transition? What’s your next step?
